No picture, no sound but TV is on
• Maybe the cable/air function is set to the wrong position.
• Maybe a vacant channel is tuned.
• If watching VCR (connected only through antenna input), make sure TV is tuned to channel 3 or 4 – same as CH3/4
switch on VCR. Also check to make sure TV/VCR switch on VCR is in the correct position

I turned on my tv this morning and the power light is flashing and tv wont turn on

if the power indicator flashes three times then goes out and stays out then its usually the power caps which are CP150, CP120 and CP114 capacitors. You can get the RCA repair kit by that same name from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the capacitors and the repair instructions on CD

My RCA big screen/rear projection T.V. is going blank, and power shuts off. What is the problem and can it be fixed, and how much?

I got rid of my RCA rear projection (DLP) after three light engine replacements. The company bought it back and I replaced it with a Sony. If you've had other problems and reported them to RCA customer relations, you, too, may qualify for a buy-back.
Think about this; RCA was reprocessing broken light engines and sending them to the dealers as new parts. In response, my local RCA dealer dumped RCA and switched to Sony.
Sorry, I don't know how to fix your TV, but I've given you something to think about.

RCA BIG SCREEN TV WONT TURN ON HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Try unplugging it for about 30-60 seconds, then plug it back in and before you turn it on, make sure there is a good video source going to the TV either from Satellite/Cable or a DVD player or something.

If this doesn't work, try unplugging it a bit longer and then plug it back in and try again. If it still does not work, you may have to take it in and get it serviced.

Usually when devices power themselves off like that, there's something wrong...

I hope this helps :) Good luck!

Best Regards,

James
