Repar database file.this is a function inside the camera menu. If database is corrupt because of erased files,like photos or videos deleted from a pc, then at backing up is trying to locate lost files. Remeber. Repair data base files. Or "repair DBF" inside menu.
Hi there nothing to say much. Your camera screen is damaged. Some how its over heating or pressed . Solution is replacing the screen. But its costly. Thanks.
The camera may not start because the battery is out.Try replacing the batteries in the camera.After that you might want to try checking the wires in the camera itself.If this does not work then I have no idea what is wrong with your camera.Hope it helped
Same happened to me, i tooke it to this nice place to repair and they charge me 10 usd. But it has to be someone that WANT'S to repair it, because i tokk it to other places, they took a look at it and say there are no spare parts and didn't want to doit.

stop bying sony camcorders, I had a problem and its was my second
sony camcorder that failed to function properly after just one year
(just after waranty expierd) the first I took to shop to repare ****
after two weeks it was broken again, this while I diden't even realy
used it; my very first camcorder: a canon, functioned more than 6 years
and if I wanted I could still repare it **** it's analog. so go Canon,
even sanyo is better these days than a f#^îng sony

When I take a photo (doesnt matter if I am nusing flash or not) the photo is all white washed and there are fine lines along the entire picture. Does any one have any suggestions for what may be the issue?

Because of your help I was able to findout that Sony is aware of the CCD problem and is reparing the problem for free. Thanks so much for the help.
