Try plugging the output to an amplifier that is turned lower and reduce the volume of the TV to almost nil. The amplifier re jigs the recieved waves through a filter better than most tv's.
Please replace lamp in TV and lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual of TV. Please buy Sony original lamp for your TV and avoid aftermarket / cheap lamps.
