I lost the AC adapter for my Vector Compact Elite 300 amp jumpstarter (veco11). What output adapter should I use to charge it? I have a 12 volt that doesn't seem to work.

It is just a 12 volt adapter, so you can get one that will work at Radio Shack. But if you want the right one, that might cut off when fully charges, try their info line:

Hello, I found that a 12 volt, 1500 milliamp charger for a Boston Acoustics set of speakers works to charge this. (halfway charged, today). So, I 'm sure on the 12 volts, and hoping it will be enough power to fully charge. B
yeah from what im to understand... you charge it overnight, and yes another way to use it (and possibly better way) is connecting to the battery directly..... it should work on your van fine i think, its worth a shot, hope this helps :)
