I lost my battery charger but i was told i could plug it into my computer and it would charger, i tried that but now it doesnt work at all the battery exhausted screen doesnt even come up i dont know if its just completly dead or what the deal is?

there are most likely two things that are wrong with your tablet, 1. your battery is worn out or your charger/chargers might be worn out.Try plugging your tablets charger back in while its off and then turn it on. If that doesnt work then try the pinhole reset button while the charger is plugged in. Since your charger might be faulty have a professional check for shorts in the charger. if none of these work consider replacing the battery, the charger, or the tablet itsself. if this doesnt help you i apologize for wasting your time with answers that are incorrect or answers that you may have tried before.
remove the battery and try to power on the computer using just the charger. if you can try to use a different charger. if the charger light still goes off when plugging it in your computer then it might mean that there is a short in your motherboard. you can try removing the peripherals (i.e. memory, harddrive, DVD or CD drive, wireless card, battery or modem) to check if it is one of the peripherals causing the short. if you have removed all the peripherals and the system still doesnt turn on or if the power light on the charger still turns off and you have tried the charger on a different computer then it would mean the motherboard is damaged.
I am guessing that you mean you have one of the jumpstart devices that you plug into the lighter socket? If that is the case plug it into the lighter socket turn it on and try to start the vehicle. If that doesnt work or you think the unit itself is dead plug it into the lighter socket on a vehicle that has a fully charged battery to charge it. If you post the manufacturer, model and name of your charger we may be able to find a manual for it than i can answer your question better
It's has a colder solder or bad connection at the power jack - Acer's are notorious for this problem. It's a bad design. They have a tendencies to break easily if you tug too hard on the cable. The only way to fix this is to dissect the entire laptop and re-solder or replace the power jack.
The first thing that you need to do is isolate if it is the battery causing it, the charger or the computer itself. Remove external devices connected to the laptop. Try to remove the batteries first and then plug in the charger and see if this will turn on the machine. YOU PEOPLE IT IS JUST THE BATTERY THAT IS IN IT!.. BECAUSE THAT BATTERY IS NOT ONLY FOR AFTER IT IS CHARGED IT ALSO WORKS TO SHOW THE DISPLAY SCREEN! BECAUSE IF YOU TAKE OUT THE BATTERY THE LIGHT STAYS ON WHILE ITS PLUGGED INTO THE COMPUTER! MY BF IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM TRY BUYING A NEW BATTERY!! ITS THE SOLUTION! the battery is caput!
dnt drain the batteries of your phones...if that happens pls buy multicharger or battery shock,remove the battery..... charge it for about 5min or shock the battery if ur using battery shock...be sure u positioned it ryt....den put it back on ur phone then charge it or continue the charging on the multicharger until its full !!!!im pretty sure of it....im encountering the same prob as urs before and thats what i did and it work!!!!
