If you already have the office pro 2007 software, you'll enter the code during installation. The product key is provided with the the setup disks. If you have computer that does not have disks, the key will be on a card that comes with the computer's documentation. If you have lost the key, you will need to call Microsoft to get a key.

The product key code should have come with the software. Usually it's printed on a label in the CD/DVD jacket.

If you cannot find that label, you'll need to contact Microsoft to acquire this.

Microsoft Home & Office 2010 wont download on XP for some reason?

From the Microsoft Forum, an expert answered that MS Office 2010 is compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 3. It might reduces the number of crashes if you use the 32 Bit version rather than the 64 Bit one.

If you had it installed as a trial version and it expired you will have to make sure it is uninstalled, then you will need to go into the regestry, BUT BE CAREFUL, AS IF YOU DELETE THE WRONG KEYStudent and then try the installation again. I hope this helps. Good luck and have a nice day.
