Question about Soyo DYLT032D 32 in. LCD Television

Soyo DYLT032D - grey box in corner, no main picture or sound

Hi - we have a Soyo DYLT032D 32" - the tv turns on (and the Soyo logo displays on the tv) but then it's a black screen with a grey box in the top left corner (no sound either). None of the buttons on the remote seem to do anything, and when you press 'Source' that screen comes up with the 7 boxes, but no text in them that you would normally select?? HELP!!

Horizontal lines on screen. what is wrong with the t.v.

I have a soyo DYLT032D LCD tv that comes on and immediately goes to a black screen with a grey box in the corner

check your input settings on the cables make sure they are in right and the tv is on the right input otherwise you may have a bad screen

How do i connect my directv box to my soyo tv #DYLT032D

If your DirecTV box supports HDTV then connect it using either an HDMI cable from the box to the TV (located on the back, labeled HDMI 1,2,3,etc.).

If the box is not an HDTV box then connect it with a RGB (red, green, blue) composite cable from the box to the TV.

If the RGB output is not on the ack of the box then connect using a standard coaxial cable.

[NOTE] In order for the quality of the picture to be HD, use the RGB for digital (Better), or the HDMI for High-def (Best)

My Soyo TV sudenly wont turn on, complete black screen, no sound.
