dude i think its the prob with the motherboard ram slot try cleaning the slot and reinstalling the ram if then also it does not work i think its the prob with the motherboard slot !! and also make sure that if the ram is working by testing it in some other mobo .

This burner has some type of virtual software built into the drive called "Bluebirds". Bluebirds is advertisement linked to the LG website to get you to buy more LG products. If you choose not to install the software you will be prompted to install it every time you close the drive door. If you install it you get the tray icons pointing to more LG products. If you remove it from the startup it adds itself back to the startup every time you close the drive door.

Yuck! Soyo filed for bankruptcy in May and their website is gone!
You need to enable the SATA in the rom bios AND install the drivers for it; but, I hope you have the manual and the CD.

try changing the drive configuration in the bios to recognise it as IDE

is in bios, on advance setings or something the same, or in integrated periperals, after u find him push enter or arrows keys to set on disable, this in most of the case fix the prob, and is a via cipset then i tink is a ac'97 integrated audio in moust of the case (sorry for my english)
