Hello,

Has there been any changes in it's hook-ups recently ?

The reason I ask is this, there are alot of variables that can cause unbalanced rinse cycles/washer's, one being if your water lines are reversed, hot tap to cold inlet and cold tap to hot inlet, you can experience an unbalanced situation in the rinse when "hot" water is introduced instead of "cold" water.

That, or you may also have extremely worn damper pads, oil on the chassis base, un level machine/floor, overloading, or several other possible senario's to cause an out of balance situation.

Washer runs through wash and rinse, but keeps getting off balance

From what you are describing I feel your FAV6800A or FAV9800A has a Clutch malfunction see this post to get started on a DIY repair Clutch Fix.

The classic failure is the machine tries to spin up the wash basket starts banging from side to side then errors out with an unbalance error of dC or uC. Is that your failure scenario?

Maytag neptune won;t rinse

Check latch mechanism for alignment. Often operation of machine loosens latch mechanism causing internal switch for "door open (or ajar)" preventing rinse or spin cycle. Opening and closing door presses latch mechanism closing internal switch allowing for continue processing to rinse or spin cycles.
