Get the replacement parts in about 10 days FREE from PP. Call 800-732-8238. The flow is the diverter tee. I had the cartridge and aerator replaced. And then I replaced the diverter tee. I ordered the parts on a Saturday; got them the following Saturday.
Below is a video to remove the diverter tee. The video is helpful, but doesn't tell you about the other 2 connections. The "spout" connection and the connection to the right (the "t" part) is simply a wiggle off. Then after those are off (with lots of water coming out - get towels ready), then you can crawl back from under the sink and get the sprayer off. The sprayer procedure is in the video (push up/in hose) then pull down gray collett.
These faucets were discontinued in 2005; a plastic disconnect is now available for newer models. Also, we had to replace the cartridge and the aerator to keep it from leaking out of the handle. The problem we originally had was not having equal pressure with the faucet and the sprayer. The faucet would be running and then the pressure would go down. The sprayer would be weak when the faucet was on - never getting full pressure from the sprayer, just a trickle. It was "moody."

You can go to PP's website and see and "Exploded View" of the model you have. If in the model number it states "XX" that is the finish - for example, mine states Marielle Kitchen Faucet "26-3NXX" The "3" is the number of holes (put a 4 in its place for 4 holes). The XX is SS for Stainless steel - even though it's chrome.
Sounds like the hand sprayer isn't opening fully when you push the button. There may be debris inside. If this is basic stand alone sprayer the you can usually unscrew it at the bottom removing it from hose and checking inside for any debris. Some sprayers may require additional disassembly while a few are almost impossible to take apart.
There could also be debris in the end of the sprayer where the water comes out some of theses will screw rite off the sprayer allowing you to clean it.
Or it may just be defective. You can usually get replacements at plumbing supply house, maybe home depot. You might hve to buy the hose with but you can usually just replace the hand held part without messing with the hose.
If this doesn't help come back with a little more info like manufac. and model if you can find it. The model probably won't be on the faucet but the other should. Or give brief description what it looks like.
SOURCE: low pressure to the main faucet, great pressure to the side spray
try un-screwing the screen on the end where the water comes out. Could be clogged
SOURCE: low flow but when I
try cleaning the earator at the end of the faucet, is this an older faucet?
