Have you checked the fuse? It is located in back of the Breeze in the fuse holder next to where the plug connects to the purifier. It uses a 1.0 Amp slow blow for 110 volt models and 0.5 Amp slow blow for 220 volt models.

My breeze unit blows a fuse when turned on,,,the fuse in the unit

First of all, make sure that the replacement fuse is the EXACT size required. Check to see that all contact points in the machine are pressing firmly on the inserted plate. You may need to turn the white posts to adjust those metal contact fingers, or bend them so they're firmly in place. The plate may be broken or dirty. Order new plates at 1-800-989-2299 (Vollara is the new name of the company.) and give 16618 as the dealer referral number.) Look to see if you can see any obviously loose wires inside, also. If none of this helps, contact us at [email protected] and perhaps we can help you. The Breeze is no longer being marketed/repaired at Vollara, but we do have some parts and machines in our older stock.

When I turn on the unit it imeadiately blows the little fuse in it.

The problem can be one of several things. 1) Make sure the fuse is the EXACT size required. 2) Check the metal contact points (fingers) that press into the plate. If they aren't firmly in place, you may need to turn the white posts, or bend them slightly. 3) Make sure the plate is clean and not damaged in any way. If you see black marks, broken screen strands, loosened glue, discoloration, or cracked background at all, you need a new plate. Call the company (New name Vollara) 800-989-2299 to order new plates. Give 16618 as the dealer referral number. The company is no longer manufacturing or repairing the Breeze, but if none of the above suggestions work, you also can email us at [email protected] and we may be able to help you.

Can't locate parts for Ecoquest Breeze AT in N.Z. I need glass filters.

The plates (which you referred to as filters) are now actually ceramic. Call Vollara customer service (new EcoQuest name) at 800-989-2299. Or go online at https://www.vollara.com/shop/environmental-purity Scroll down to "Full ozone plate single dot." Use dealer referral #16618 if you are no longer in contact with the registered dealer who sold you the machine. You may wish to order several, since I'm sure postage will be high for you.
Make sure you use ammonia/water in a 1/1 ratio to clean the plates, and dry them with air (no towels or cloth.) Do not touch the screen part with your fingers.

Will not turn on

Typical things to check are the plug, make sure it is seated into the socket and outlet. Check the fuse, it is located inside the power cord socket. Check that the safety switch clip on the lint screen makes contact with the switch.

Fan works but no light on inside the unit.

The most common problem I have found with Breeze ATs not producing ozone is corroded terminal ends. The second most common problem is the coil that energizes the plate. The terminal ends are easily replaced. If the coil is bad, it is my understanding that Ecoquest is no longer servicing the Breeze and I don't know a source for them. Another possibility is that the contacts which touch the plate are not making firm contact.

Purifier doesn't go on and keeps blowing fuses when turned on

If the machine keeps blowing fuses there is a short in the electrical circuit and it needs to be looked at by a certified repair center.
Make sure the fuses you replace are the same as the original
100,110 volt models use the 1.0 amp slow blow fuse
220 volt models use the 0.5 amp slow blow fuse.

I hope this helps
