hold the FN key and press NumLK key... you currently have the numlock key on... turn it off and your problem goes away

If it is brand new, then you have warranty, I suggest you return it to the supplier to get it fixed, because if you do something to it you might void your warranty.

when u poweer up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode.then type "cmd"in run then press enter.then u got cmd prompt.
then type"chkdsk /r" then press enter "y"
then restrt the pc.if your hardisk has error it fix with thisd process.if proble still remains your system is virus infected.scan your system with antivirus.

I think for your laptop the number lock key is a second function... Try holding down the function (Fn) key and pressing the F11 key, hopefully that will turn your number lock on/off.

Try pressing the Fn, F12, and NumLock keys simultaneously. This should release the Fn lock.
