Bottom lights are controlled through relays on the main control board which is mounted on the back of the touch pads (control panel).You can check and see if wires are touching each other on the board but my guess is the board is defective and needs replaced.
HI. This is , indeed, an issue within the touch pad circuitry. it is damage, and will require replacement. I have located a replacement touch pad. Use the link below to access the touch pad. You can order the pad on-line, by clicking the link below.
This is either a defective touch pad membrane or the entire main control board is not functioning correctly. many times, the unit will have a separate touch control but, most newer models will have the touch pad integrated together with the main assembly.
In this case, replace the main touch control assembly.
