Time Setting for Models Without Calendar Note: When setting the minute hand of a quartz watch, advance it a few minutes ahead of the time and then turn it back to the exact time. <ol> <li>Pull out the crown all the way. Note: If your watch has three hands, pull out the crown when the second hand is pointing to 12 o'clock.</li> <li>Adjust the time by turning the crown in the desired direction.</li> <li>Push the crown back in to the normal position. Note: If your watch has three hands, push the crown back in to the normal position in accordance with a time signal for "00" seconds.</li></ol>Time/Calendar Setting for Models With Calendar Note: The date will change gradually between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM. For some models, however, it will change instantly when the hands pass the 12 o'clock marker at midnight. <ul style="font-weight: bold;"> <li>For models with date calendar</li></ul> <ol> <li>Pull out the crown to the first click.</li> <li>Turn the crown until the previous day's date appears in the calendar frame.</li> <li>Pull out the crown to the second click, and advance the hour and minute hands until the desired date appears. Note: If your watch has three hands, pull out the crown when the second hand is pointing to 12 o'clock.</li> <li>Adjust the time by turning the crown in the desired direction.</li> <li>Push the crown back in to the normal position. Note: If your watch has three hands, pull out the crown when the second hand is pointing to 12 o'clock.</li> <li>Adjust the time by turning the crown in the desired direction.</li> <li>Push the crown back in to the normal position. Note: If your watch has three hands, push the crown back in to the normal position in accordance with a time signal for "00" seconds.</li></ol>Note: Do not change the calendar between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM as it may not change properly. If it is necessary to set the calendar during that time period, first change the time to any time outside those hours, set the calendar and then reset the correct time. When the day shifts automatically to the next day, the other language will temporarily appear. Note: When setting the hour hand, check that AM/PM is correctly set. The watch is designed so that the calendar changes once in 24 hours. Turn the hands past the 12 o'clock marker to determine whether the time is set for the AM or PM period. If the calendar changes, the time is set for the AM period. If it does not change, the time is set for the PM period.

go to support page on casio. and get your manual. youll probably gonna look for a 3 or 4 digit number located at the back of your watch. once you got the manual. go to page 4. and follow the steps of "Hand Home Position Correction". that should fix it.

i also have ga 110c and i have encountered this issue

I have a quartz president wall clock, I changed the battery and set the time OK but the chime needs setting and I have no instructions as it is a very old clock

These are general quartz wall clock instructions as I dont know enough about what type/style of clock you have.

Open the access door to the dial and hands of the clock if required. Some battery-operated clock movements are sealed inside the clock case with a back panel that is screwed in place. To gain access to the hand set knob, remove the back panel screws using the appropriate tipped screwdriver.

Turn the minute hand (or turn the hand set knob at the rear of the movement if access is available) carefully counterclockwise or clockwise until the correct time is reached. Keep in mind that using the hand set from the rear would require turning the knob in a clockwise direction in order for the hands to turn counterclockwise.

Move the hour hand carefully with your fingers near the center of the hand to the hour that the clock is striking if the striking chime is not counting the correct hour. The hour hand is a friction fit hand and will move without engaging the minute hand.

Replace the back panel and tighten the screws with the screwdriver if removal of the back panel was necessary to access the hand set knob.

Close the front access door if required.

How do you set the day of the week?

Since you didnt tell me what KIND of watch it is I am giving you a general instructions.

Wait until the second hand is at zero (the top of the dial). Then pull the crown knob out as far as it will go to set the time on your watch. Turn the knob in either direction and look at the three additional hands on the time dials of your watch: the minute hand, the hour hand and the 24-hour hand.

Step 2 Stop turning the knob when all minute and hour hands are pointing to the correct time. Pay special attention to the 24-hour hand so that you have a.m. or p.m. correct.

Step 3 Push the knob back in exactly when a new minute is starting so that your second hand will be correct. Use another clock you know to be accurate as a reference, such as the government clock available online.

Step 4 Pull the knob out halfway so you can set the date. Turn it counterclockwise until you notice the date on the watch changing. Stop it and push the knob back in to its starting position once you reach the correct one. Try to set the date before 9 p.m. If you set it after that time, it may not register with your watch that it should switch the date at midnight. If this happens with your watch, just fix it the next day.

Step 5 Set the chronograph, or big dial, on your watch. It works like a stopwatch to let you time activities for up to one hour. Push the top button on the side of your watch to start it. Push it again to stop it. Push the bottom button on the side of your watch to reset it.

If your watch is changing date before midnight (12 hours earlier as it should) - Pull out crown and turn watch hands clockwise for exactly 12 hours and push crown back. If it changes the date after midnight (12 hours later as it should) - Pull out crown and turn watch hands anti-clockwise for exactly 12 hours and push crown back. Don't do it from 00:00 till 04:00.

I have a Aerospace model watch and am having difficulty in adjusting the digital time to be equal to the minute and hour hand time.

Its best to change on the hour.Stop your watch so that the second hand is pointing to 12.
Move the hands to the time i.e 10am then advance the minute hand 5 mins past the hour, then turn it back to 10am, when the time comes push set and your hands are set.
I think you might have not moved the minute hand forward 5 mins and back.

You can now set your digital time from your hands setting.

FEATURES
1. Hours, minutes, seconds and date display.
2. 60 minute Chronograph (CHRONO) with minutes and
seconds display.
3. 24 hour hand, permanently synchronized with the normal
12 hour hand.
A. SETTING THE TIME
1. Pull the crown out to position “3” (See diagram). If the crown has
a “screw-down” lock, then unscrew the crown lock first by turning
the crown toward you, then pull it to position “3”. Do not forget to
screw the crown back “IN” after all setting is completed.
2. Turn the crown towards you (hands moves clockwise) until the
date changes at approximately midnight.
3. Continue turning the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
If it is afternoon you must go past 12 o’clock again (noon) to set
the correct time.
4. When the correct time is set,push crown back to position “1”.
B. SETTING THE DATE
1. Pull crown to position “2”(See proceeding diagram).The watch
will continue to run.
2. Turn the crown away from you until the correct date appears.
3. Once the date is set, push the crown back to position “1”.
Note: Do NOT set the date between the hours of 8:00 PM and
3:00 AM.This would not damage the watch,but the date may need
to be reset later.
C. CHRONOGRAPH (CHRONO) ADJUSTMENT
If the chrongraph second hand is not positioned at the proper
starting position (12 o’clock or “zero” position), use the below
procedure.It does not need to be repeated unless the watch
receives an impact sufficient to move the hand out of position, or
the Battery has been changed.
1. Pull crown out to position “3”.
2. Push button “A” to move the Chrono Second hand (long hand) to
the “0” or 12 o’clock position. Each button push will move the
hand one step – BUT holding the button down will advance the
hand rapidly.
3. Push crown back to position “1”.
D. USING THE CHRONOGRAPH (CHRONO)
Note: The maximum chrono reading is 60 minutes, However the
chrono will continue running once 60 minutes has passed. The
resulting one hour periods may be added together mentally to keep
track of longer periods.
For example – If you know that approximately one hour has
passed since you started the chronograph, and the chrono reads
25 minutes, then you know that the chrono has been running 60
minutes plus 25 minutes, which is one hour and 25 minutes.
1. Push Button “A” to start the chronograph. Push button “A” again
to stop the chronograph.
2. Push button “B” to return the two chronograph hands to the
“Zero” or starting point.
3. The Chronograph can be stopped and started again
(Button “A”), repeatedly, to “ADD” times together.

The analog clock hands on the Casio 2747 will only turn in a clockwise direction, but there is a way to speed them up when you have to move them far around the watch face.

1. In Timekeeping mode (i.e. Date is shown in the digital display), push button "C" (bottom-left) 6 times to enter Hand-Setting mode.
2. Hold down button "A" (top-left) until the digital time starts to flash.
3. Press button "D" (bottom-right) to advance the analog time by 20 seconds, and hold down button "D" for High-Speed.
4. Alternately, for High-Speed, press button "D" (bottom-right) and button "B" (top-right) together at the same time, and then let go. The hands will continue to move automatically. Press any button to stop them BEFORE they arrive at the desired time, then press button "D" several times to arrive at the time of your choosing.
5. Press button "A" (top-left) to exit.
6. Press button "C" (bottom-left) if you want to return to Timekeeping mode.

Looks like those Casio watches only go one-way.
So you just keep turning it forward, and stop at
the desired hour. Miss your hour, then go one-revolution
again.
