Why does my printer hp psc 1400 series stop in the

Cartridge calibration pending in your printer. Put printed align page in to scanner and scan it.. ensure that mono & color cartridge should be in good healthy condition..

As the 1400 doesn't appear in the list so make sure you check the model number.

Most of the drivers for the series are the same as will be the software.

re install driver and printer

Download the drivers from here if you don't have the cd to run.

All the 1400 psc printers have drivers available for them from HP.

Make sure that you have completed all the steps perfectly and carefully.

Please perform this additional step.

click on start >> Run
In Run box type services.msc /s and press enter.
You will see a services page.
Search for print spooler
Double click on print spooler.
Make sure that start up type is "AUTOMATIC"
CLick on stop and then start the service.
Then start installing the printer software, this should fix the issue.
