My daughter recently dropped my phone in water for about half a sec. The phone turns on and everything seems to work fine except for one problem it says there is no service. Is there a way to fix this?
This happened to me for more then 3 seconds in water for the razor, turn off the phone, remove the battery and SIM card, let it sit in a dry place over night, and check again next day, it should be fully functional

To dry your iPhone, tap it gently against your hand with the Lightning connector facing down to remove excess liquid. Leave your iPhone in a dry area with some airflow. Placing your iPhone in front of a fan blowing cool air directly into the Lightning connector might help the drying process. You can also try this turn off your phone let dry out a day or two encased with rice in bowl or hair drier it for awhile then then check operation
check if your network signal is stable. if its ok,try to reset the phone.
if the mobile was on water damage
some tips :
* never open the phone * never charge the phone * remove immediately the battery * bring it to a mobile service technicial for assistance
if you continue using the phone w/o maintenance and the water stuck inside your mobile and its component, everything might happen to you mobile...problem each by each and might result to a dead one.
It seems bad. Usually problem with PCB. Ask your daughter if there was possibility to get even drop of water (rain, drink...) inside - in that case you should let the camera dry, but your chance is not big. I´d like I was wrong...
The water valve may look fine but the solenoid may not be opening to allow water in. You said that everything else works fine except no water supply to the dishwasher. This sounds like a bad soleniod valve. Check for continuity on the valve with an ohms meter after you start it. Be careful.
I've had this problem.Dont worry its fixable. And realy easy fixable by the way. Its just that water gets somewhere (i dont know where) and shorts the antena. You need to get the water aot and everything will be allright.First time this hapend to me i had to wait for t2 weeks befor the problem fixed itself . The second time i just got a hairdrier and heated the lights out the phone. For an hour it was fixed but tri not to get it to hot its a delicate temperature depending texhnology. Its probably better to do this while the phone if with its panels off.
