I have a new Polk PA1200.1 amp, it seems to work fine, but the power light stays amber or orange instead of green, until shutting down, then it turns green, should I be concerned? Thanks
I had an amp that did the same thing your amp should not be doing that i dont know how old it is but mine had internal overload switch in it which kicked on if the amp was getting to hot and in my case i would say it was because of i had the amp bridged to a set of of some 100rms 4ohm speakers very nice speakers but by bridging the amp i was over loading the ohm load to the speakers and that was cause of my amp light staying the color that its was it was an old alpine amp with duo B circuitry but i hope you get your situation with this amp straited out check your contecions and if its bridege make sure the amp itself is not over heating cause that can be a problem you dont want mess with that.
