SOURCE: connect sony handycam video hi 8 to a computer

There are lots of devices on ebay for doing this. I have one for just about £15 so pretty cheap. You then play the video through the "red yellow an white plugs" an its converted into USB. Easy to use software too. You can record from a video player or any digital camera or camcorder or ineed anything which has an output of the yellow red an white connectors.

I tried searching for your camera on the internet for a run down on how it connects to a pc but with the model number you gave I got no results?

There might be a small connector somewhere which is infact USB but looks nothing like it! You will find a similar connector on some mobile phones, or an ipod, digi camera etc etc One model I did find says it does streaming straight to USB.

SOURCE: I can't find a cable that fits my JVC GR-D347U camcorder

How old is the camcoder?

Is it digital?

You may need a video capture card installed on your computer to transfer video to your system.

Check ebay for a "dazzle" box.....

Good luck

How I hook up my mhl HDMI cable to my vizio eco 1080p?

Essentially one end of an MHL cable will plug into the micro USB port on your phone or tablet while the other will plug into an HDMI port on a television (or monitor) and your phone's screen will then be mirrored on the external screen.

You obviously need an HDMI port on your VISIO which, if fitted, will normally be on the back of the VISIO unit next to other connection ports. If you have a much older Visio which does not have an HDMI port fitted by the manufacturer then you cannot use an HDMI cable obviously.

  1. Plug the modem into an electrical outlet.

  2. Plug one end of a phone cord or cable into the modem, and plug the other end into the wall jack. (DSL users: Do not use a DSL filter on the phone line.)

  3. Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the modem, and plug the other end into the wide area network (WAN) port on the router.

  4. Plug the router into an electrical outlet.

  5. Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the local area network (LAN) port on the router, and plug the other end into the networking port on the computer that you want to connect to the Internet. (If you are connecting wirelessly, skip this step.)

I am trying to connect my Laptop to my tv Screen,so as to enable the family to watch alltogether. can you please advise. Thankyou

This is a very simple procedure to do. All you need to do is follow the instructions that i give to you below.
1. Get a signal cable(the cable that connects your monitor to your system unit).
2. After obtaining this cable get one end of the cable connected to the RGB PC port at the back of your TV(the port that has similar plugs to the port in which this cable fits into at the back of your CPU).
3. Connect the other end of this cable to the same type of port on your computer. It is usually by one of the sides of the Laptop.
4. Your computer may flicker or go blank at first but don't worry if the display doesn't come back once this cable is connected at both ends.
5. Change your Tv output to the RGB PC output frequency.
At this point, all the display and activities should be reflected on the TV screen and you can put any movies or programs for your family to watch together.
If you are having any problems setting this up, let me know and please let me know if you were able to set it up properly.
Hope it helped you?

Hi,I just want to know the connection diagram of lg 17"crt monitor cable which is connected to cpu end,my cable is ok but the thing is one end is disordered which is fitted with 15 pin connector...

Don't know what you mean by "disordered" the signal cable is a male connector at either end. Are you sure you are trying to connect it to the correct port on your PC?

Does your PC have onboard graphicis or do you need a seperate video card?

Datacard ID Card printer has scsi port and I have no idea...

It is not a scsi port it is a parallel port, the end that plugs into the printer just uses a smaller parallel connector, the other end will plug into a standard printer port. The cable is common used bu HP and Datacard, We have some used for about $10 Plus shipping www.midwestidsolutions.com

How to hook up our new computer

Fortunately, the cables will only fit into a matching port. If the end of the cable is USB, plug it into a USB port, for example. The shape of the cable end will basically tell you how to hook it up.

Why isnt my xbox connecting? i plugged the cble into the rouder and then put the other cable into the xbox and its not letting me connect.

To make a router connection to Xbox Live:
  1. Before you connect any cables, turn off your router, modem, PC, and Xbox 360 console. (Unplug your modem from its power source to turn it off.)
  2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your modem and the other end to the Ethernet input port on the back of your router.
  3. With another Ethernet cable, connect one end to one of the router's Ethernet output ports. Connect the other end to your PC's Ethernet port.
  4. With the third Ethernet cable, connect one end to another of the router's Ethernet output ports. Connect the other end to the Ethernet port on the back of the Xbox 360 console.
  5. Turn on your modem, then your router, then your PC.
  6. Make sure your PC can access the Internet. If not, you may need to configure the router for Internet access. For help configuring the router using your PC, check the instructions that came with the router.
  7. Turn on your Xbox 360 console with no disc in the disc tray.
  8. If you've already used your Xbox 360 system for offline play, the Xbox Dashboard will open to the Xbox Live area. Select the Xbox Live banner. When you see the Xbox Live Marketplace you'll know you're connected to Xbox Live.

USB Cable?

It should connect directly to the printer. Exactly where varies from model to model, but there should be a small port it will fit in. Just FYI, the printer will not be powered by the USB cable, it will require a separate power cord (which you probably already knew and had plugged in).
