Hi, i have got this Router but no CD, how do i install it?

hey,

you dont need a Cd to install your wireless router.
If you are looking for a CD , download the same from the routers site.

Or press the small reset button on the back of your router to reset the entire network, then connect the router to your laptop/desktop by a wired connection, navigate to your routes default webpage (details behind or benath the router) and then login and configure everything again.

Can i have the brand name of the modem , Your Internet service provider name , so that we can configure the router with using the CD.
We have another method to configure the router that is manual configuration method.

Hi i got your issue

no problem if you lost the installion Cd

Step 1: Contact belkin customer support 18002235546 and select IVR option 5 4 2....they will give You a free cd

Step 2: Or contact belkin technical support 18002235546 and they will assist in installing the router witout the cd

I think you are trying to install the router using the CD.
But you can install the router without the CD also.
If you connect the computer to the modem , does it works ?
If it works then modem is working. now connect the computer and modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router. change the Internet settings according to the ISP.

You do not need the disk

While it is powered up look for the reset button on the back and put a pencil or other non-metallic onto the button and hold it in for 10 seconds

It will reset and set the username to "admin" and the password to "password" or "admin"

If this does not work do not put in a username but enter "admin" for the password

You can then use the setup wizard to connect the internet broadband

i want install a router

simply dont install disk on mac configure router from desktop and connect to network from laptop(MAC).

To install the wireless router with the help of cd. You should be the administrative person for that particular computer on which you need to install this wireless router. If you do not have admin rights on the computer then contact the router company to get this configured for you.
