Re: Desk top not along bottom properly icons all bunched...
Right click on the start bar and make sure the 'Lock the Taskbar' option is not ticked (click on it if it is) . Afer that just drag the bar that aperars near the icons to the right:).

click on the start con in the task bar( picture of the world in the bottom lh corner
click on all programs , find the one you want and click and drag it onto the desk top
icon installed
to get a short cut to desk top click on the start icon ( little flag world in bottom lh corner )
click on all programs , scroll down until you get the program you want on desktop, click and drag it across to the desk top and let it go
that is your shortcut on desktop
do that for all programs you want on desktop
To change startup page, click on the icon that looks like 3 lines (top-right corner below the close button). From there go to Settings. A new tab will be opened and you'll see this:
Click on Set pages, click the x next to ask.com and enter google.com.
Click ok and that should be it.
You can: If you can click on start, click on run, type desk top into the open space and ok it. your icons should be shown. you will have to copy and paste each one back to your desk top, or select edit and then select select all, then click on file, select send to, and select desk top as short cut
if you ave one on your desk top right click and click add to quick launch
if no desk top icon create one to desk top from start menu first in same fashion then from desk top to quick launch hope it helps
You need to remove the unknows first. Try the speakers on another device. You could try a walkman, another computer or anything with an 1/8th" Stereo jack. Prove that the speakers work or get a pair of headphones to check out your PC. If you are using the green jack on the back try the headphone jack on the front. If the front works and the back doesn't check the sound card options / set up. Some have an icon by the time in the bottom right corner others will need to be found under the sound effects manager or the sounds and audio devices icon. I suspect if you get this far something has been turned off in the software.
To change or assign the function of the Navigator buttons go to the Logitech icon in your desk top tray (bottom right hand corner), right click, this brings up a menu where you can decide how you want your keyboard to work for you.
With Windows XP in the lower-right corner of your screen is the Notification Area where there are a bunch of little icons. There should be an icon that looks strikingly similar to your Kodak 5100 AIO printer. Double-clicking this icon will bring up the printer's status window. In the top right-hand corner of this window there are three icons. The first from the left is the maintenance icon that looks like a crossed hammer and wrench. After clicking this icon it should become obvious how to calibrate your new ink cartridges and printer heads.
