My Ipod 30g asks for unlock code. My Ipod is locked and it asks for unlock code.

Unlock Screen Lock and Volume Lock for Windows Vista

First you need to click on My Computer with your iPod connected.
The click on the iPod, click organized, select folder and search options, now click View the click to show hidden files and folders then click apply.

You should now see a folder named iPod_Control, click into this, then click device, now delete the file named: _locked to reset the screen lock and delete _volumelocked

theres a lock thing on the top of the zune switch it so you dont see the red mark it should unlock

Hi! To unlock you ipod you can connect your ipod to the computer it was last synced with and click on restore options. it will restore the factory settings and will clear all the saved data in your ipod. This is the only way you can unlock it.

You can't find out your screen lock code! I tried expiremanting with ways to unlock it and I think I found one. I just plugged my ipod into the computer and when it connected and was syned I ejected it to find that my ipod was unlocked.

I'm not sure if this is what your were asking but maybee it will help someone else to.

This support document also provides additional information on locking and unlocking the iPod. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the iPod by doing the following:
Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.
