That unit does not have a tuner so it does not have an antenna input. You need to connect a cable box, satellite box, VCR with a digital tuner (or an additional DTV box for converted input), or DVR to one of the HDMI, S-Video, or Component inputs to view TV.

How do I connect the coax antenna cable?

This unit doesn't have a tuner, This is what I found when researching this question for you.Maybe you can hookup DVD player or VCR player with audio and video cables, I know some VCR's have HDMI on them too that can be hooked on that TV. Good Luck

Can you hook up an antenna to a maxent 2007 tv to get free basic television stations

Your Maxent instructions should say. My Maxent is a display, basically a monitor only, that has no tuner. Without a tuner an antenna won't help you make use of the signal. Hope this helps!

What all do i need to hook up my realistic TRC-11 CB TRANSCEIVER. WIRES,CABLES,BATTERY etc.

You'll need to decide what style of antenna to use first. Once the antenna is mounted and the coax is run from the radio location to the antenna. Use a SWR meter to tune the antenna to the radio. Use ONLY 50 ohm coax not the coax used for cable TV. If you hear spark plug noise in the radio, then install a choke in series with the power wire. It's best to locate a wire in the fuse box that is only powered when the ignition switch is on or in the accessory position so the battery wont run down if you forget to turn off the radio.

Can you turn coax into rca cables since the maxent I have doesnt have a coax input

You can but the connection type is not the problem. If you have Coax cable or antenna type signal you need to put that into a tuner capable of providing the RCA (baseband or composite) video out with RCA audio as well. However if one is going that route with a HD display then the SVHS tyoe connector or even HDMI or some component level cables should be used to get the full benefit of the HD signal.
If your HDTV has no Coax input then it is not a TV but a display
device more like what is used in computers.

Can' hook up the cable cause internal cable broke

If the coax fitting is damaged or broke off you can with a box connect via the rear jacks---most boxes have rear av or component outputs for this.

This bypasses the coax input---just hook up and in menu select that input (they are numbered and numbers on back indicate what number each is).

Let me know if you have questions or a comment.

I am having problems programing my Maxent MX50X3 TV to our Direct TV system.

Hi, Your Direct TV system runs on channel 3 or 4 on the Maxent HDTV and the decoder box(PVR) works all the channels. So you might not be able to program your HDTV. Good luck.

Is there any way to connect basic cable to the tv without using a converter box or anything else

Recently, I dropped HBO with my cable company and there dont have a box. Since the Maxent 42 is only a monitor and doesnot have a tuner...there is no where to plug cable from the wall to the tv.
Solution...plug cable from wall to VCR/DVD and then use RCA cables (Red,White and Yellow cables) from output from VCR/DVD. works great.

How do you hook the up

Use the instructions that came with the device for full details. Their site is down, so you can't get a manual online at this time.
Usually, all you need is video input (a cable connection) and power.
If you have a straight cable line (no box), coax cable connection is will work if supported.
If you have a box, the better cables support the RGB and audio split, and will give you a better quality picture.
Be sure all are secure connected, and that if you use the RGB/Audio split connection, be sure each matches the color coding on the connector.

Maxent MX50X3 HDMI input

I had the same problem and found that the ground wire outside where the cable companys box is was not even hooked up. It was just hanging there, once I hooked it up it went away. The cable company gave me the run around telling me it wasn't their fault. I now have Direct Tv.
