You have to first install the GPRS settings,call your Network Service
provider and they'll send you the settings and when you press 'Save' it
gets saved automatically in the default directory (or you can save them
manually but still you'll have to call the network service provider).
When you have saved them switch off your phone and then switch on and then try browsing (you can use the Google Widget on your Mobile) try Google or any other site.

With working sim in phone, go to keypad and enter *2767*3855# and wait, this will fully reset phone so ensure you back up anything on it first, during repowering up remove battery and insert sim from other network then turn back on, phone should now be sim lock free. As always this is at your own risk.This will likely work with other Samsung phones
