Card Error with SanDisk 2 GB card

I own a Panasonic SV-AS10 digital camera. I got a SanDisk 2GB card for Christmas and when I insert it, get CARD ERROR on the screen. Please advise if there are incompatibility issues with this SanDisk card and my camera. If not what do you suggest I do to get it functioning correctly.

I have the same problem just with a Kingston 2g card. It shows card error. Is it too much memory?

Is Sandisk Ultra 8 GB SDHC card compatible with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30GN camera? When inserted in Camera error message check card flashes

No. The DMC-FZ30 was designed to work with SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they do not work. You'll have to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Music + 2 Gb-sd-card = ?

Just an FYI, I bought a 16 GB SDHC card for my eware (Panasonic SV-AV20) and found out that the highest compatible card for this device is only 1 GB! (according to http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/connect/d_snap/sv_av20.html). I kept getting a "CHECK CARD" error so I know it won't work. Format the SD Memory Card

Formatting erases all the data recorded on the SD Memory Card. If an SD Memory Card becomes unreadable, formatting may make it reusable.
