Tascam DM-24 Digital Mixer Problem

I purchased a used Tascam DM-24 mixer, but it keeps locking up and giving me a "NaN error on DSP .... this is Fatal Error please reboot".
It happens mostly when powering up, but occures during normal operation as well. Any help would be appreciated.

This mixer is plagued by bad caps in the powersupply. Open the desk. Find the powersupply and change the caps... (big black round capacitors. If the silver heads are a bit round they are failing. They should be dead on flat.

I purchased a used Tascam DM-24 mixer about 2 years ago, and it 's been running great. Just about 2 months, it frequently shut itself off with a message:
" Power Supply voltage (+5V) is too low for stable operation. Please restart DM-24".
Of course, many attempts of restarting the board, but it won't turn back on after several hours later, and only lasts about half a day work only. Very frustrating. Any idea I could get help or fixed? million thanks for suggestions. Brian

I have a mixer tascam tm-d4000 and stopped working now screen shows "fatal error" can you tell me how to fix it please

Do you have the service manual and the necessary tools and experience? If not take it to a service shop it will be more cost effective.

Hi I have a tascam tm-d4000 it stopped working now shows on the screen "fatal error"

Usually, this is a symptom of a main board failure. Sometimes rebooting the mixer will temporarily stop the error. If there are any additional numbers (like 99-00000009-00) in the error message, you can try resetting the unit. Press and hold Shift and Mixer Position and then turn on the Mixer. The unit will need to be professionally serviced or replaced. Since it is a discontinued model, check your warranty. It may be cheaper to replace the mixer.

I wish that I had better news for you.
