Ringtones that exceed 0:30 (30 seconds) that are in your library will not sync with your device. If these ringtones that won't sync are over 30 seconds you will have to find new ones that are less then 30 seconds.
it all depends on how and what type of tones you are trying to use . itones won't transfer any song over 30sec. as a ring tone so that's the most important thing to remember
Goto your address book, click on the contact you wish to add a custom ringtone to. Press the menu key to select "edit contact." Once you are in the edit mode, click the menu button again and select "add custom ringtone. You can click the present ringtone to bring up the browse slection. From there you can find your bluetoothed ringtone.
Copy and paste your ring tones or music to My Documents/My Ringtones
folder. You will be able to select the music or tones at the Sounds and
Notifications setup page. To save space on your memory, you can also store it in My Storage which is the 8 or 16GB card. Create a folder called My Ringtones under My Storage. Put all your MP3 songs in My Storage/My Ringtones.
You don't need to move the music tone to a ring tone file in order to use it?!
You can edit your profiles, when choosing the ringtone for any feature i/e phone - Browse, which will show you all tones including your music folder and it will allow you to choose any saved music tones here
I struggled with this for most of 2 days and then realized it only recognizes MP3 files, not WMA or others. Once I re-ripped CDs into mp3 and loaded them, it worked fine. Have no idea on ring tones, but believe it will not move music to ring tones within the phone itself.
