I used my wife's hairdryer and heated the outside for a few minutes so that the heat could get to the batteries. Left it for a few minutes and tried to open it once again and Bingo.. it opened..
have new batteries and told the wife not to forget next time..
The advice posted by admin 693 is spot on! My battery's were really weak and would not unlock the safe! I phoned Nutool who told me that they dont supply replacement keys, so I left the safe in the sunshine for a while, then heated it with a hairdryer, typed in the code and as the final beep did so, twisted the handle and it opened! Thank God!
