DSC-T3 won't power up

Hi,

It's a few years that I have my DSC-T3 and it was working fine. On Christmas eve, I wanted to take some pictures of the kids, but the camera wouldn't power up. I put it back on the charger and the orange led lights up. I even bought a new battery, same thing. So, I think the power switch is defective or ???.

Is there any reset switch or bypass to boot the camera instead of the switch??? Am I in serious expensive repair cost if the problem is mechanical...
