Are you sure it is running too rich? Your eyes will also burn if it runs too lean because the hyrocarbon and nitrous oxide balance is off. If too rich, there usually is a smokey vapor that is emited, whereas too lean does not create any seeable vapor.
If youhave a little tech to you, you can over-ride the control board and have the power go directly to the burner (as is in the older burner models). If you get the same results, then you'll know itis not the control board. Goodluck,Macgivor

Ready heater Pro 100 (65-100,000 BTU0) strong oder that berns the eyes after a short period of time and is worse on low settings. Does have suffishent ventalation. What cold be wrong or cause this

Your eyes burn because the flame is burning too rich or too lean. Always start troubleshooting a fuel delivery problem by setting the pump pressure.

If the pressure is correct, check for a restricted fuel filter, a cracked end cover, air or vac leaks between the pump/nozzle and tank/nozzle.

DESA recommended annual replacement of the nozzle because they wear out and start producing a spray rather than a fog.

I have a reddy heater 100 pro it stinks when it is going and burns my eyes

If you are using it inside, in an area that is not well ventilated, that is the problem. In addition, if this heater is in a work area and there are paint or stain fumes or anything similar, the heater is picking up those fumes and making them 100 times worse.

Also, is the heater has not been cleaned and service regularly, this also could cause the odor, due to incomplete combustion. Also, how old is the gas in the tank you're using. Old LP Gas can also cause the odors.

Those things listed above, are all things that can cause the problem you described. Resolving those should take care of the odor problem.

It shoulds like it could be an air flow problem. I suggest you get on the manufactures website at www.desatech.com . They offer service manuals for these heaters. I hope this helps you!

Burning eyes and sore throat when heater is on

This heater should only be used in a very well ventilated area, the sore throat and burning eyes are from carbon monoxide.
Carbon monoxide is potentially fatal.  I cannot express how dangerous this is if used in a house or garage without the doors open
Please be careful and let me know if I can provide furthur assistance.

Reply with the correct model number. "Pro 155" designates a series. We need to know whether you have a heater with a spark plug or a heater with an ignitor (glowbar).

Sounds like it's not getting enough air to fuel mix, check your air inlet line for breaks or just put a new one on for a couple bucks. any fuel line thats the right diameter will work, got mine from auto zone.

Fumes

One of two things, a high heat limit control or the flame sensor, also check your air line that runs to the heater nozzle could be cracked, not enoughair to fuel mix will make it burn dirty.
