SOURCE: When taking photos at night I sometimes get a red haze

It's probably because of the artificial light affecting the white balance, causing the images to appear too 'hot'. Ideally, you could post up some photos so we can see (along with the EXIF data).

If you shoot in RAW you can easily adjust when post processing.

Why do my in door pictures come out looking very red or oranfe

Unless you tell it otherwise, your camera sets its colour profile based on the colours as seen under natural daylight. If you are using artificial light, the colours will actually be different. Tungsten lighting gives a a yellow/orange colour and fluorescent tends more towards the green. You need to find the White Balance control in your camera's menu and set it for the lighting in your scene. IF you have several differnet types of light, then you might need to work on the image in a photo editing package such as Photoshop or PS Elements.

Search Google for articles on lighting colour casts.

I cant get corect skin colour tone in auto white balance.i got some photographs and i see exif data of that photos in photoshop.at the exposure mode it showing manual exposure but at the scene cature type...

You can't. The Portrait mode, like all the other point&shoot modes, are automatic. The camera controls most functions, like exposure metering, auto-focus mode, and white-balance. If you want control over the camera, you'll have to use one of the PSAM modes.

Photos are coming out with a blue tinge. Out on the harbour where the water is a greeny blue and the sky grey to blue, all photos seem to have a blue tinge. ISO is 100. Photographed some trees and these...

Check the white balance settings. If the photos where taken in the high midday sun this is the high UV content in the air. Set you white balance to Cloudy and see what that does. Also fit a UV lens to the front of the lens if haven't already.
