If you're talking about the disk that came with the player, that has a driver on it for people that are still using Windows '98. If you're Windows 2000, 2000 SE, XP, or Vista, you don't need a driver disk. If your computer is telling you it doesn't have the driver for this player, you may need to do a Window's update. Please let me know if you need more information.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. Then do firmware upgrade
It sounds like your computer is trying to read your removeable storage...rename them and that should solve your problems..make sure you dont have any printer anything connected when you are renaming them
Same here. The only time I got it to work I used the Add new hardware wizard. When it prompts to put in the mfgr. cd I did, and it works fine now. Of course that was at my girlfriends house and I CAN NOT get it to work at home.
