In windows vista ultimate 64 bit. most of the items in my control panel will not open up. I get this message. c:\windowssystem32 undll32.exe file name or extension is to long. can you please help me. jim

Programs installed in the x86 folder can be initialized just like programs installed in the regular Program Files folder.

Open the 32-bit programs folder. Go to Start > Computer > Local Disk (C:), then click on "Program Files (x86)." Open the desired program folder. The executable file for the program will be located inside the folder. Double-click on the file with the ".exe" file extension. As an example, for the QuickTime program you would double-click on the "QuickTimePlayer.exe" file. You have now successfully run a 32-bit application in your 64-bit operating system. You could search for this file in c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386, provided you have the service pack files copy in this folder.

If the system came with a cd for the keyboard, reinstall it. otherwise, reinstall the windows.
