I have recently downgraded an Acer Aspire 5315 from vista to xp. I've downloaded the drivers and got everything working except the speakers and touch pad? What can i do?

1. Before upgrading to windows 7, you must check the specification of your acer aspire 5315.

2. Windows 7 is better than windows vista but if you are really wanted those acer programs to work. You have to downgrade your operating system from your previous operating system.

Please download and install the correct driver for your laptop if you are using following systems:

Acer Aspire 5315 XP Driver download
Acer Aspire 5315 Vista Driver download

[OPTIONAL & use at own risk]
Acer Aspire 5315 BIOS download

You can download all of them they will not install if the driver is not the right one. After download run it, the software will look for the device if it can not find it it will notify you stating "The device can not be found" if it is the correct one it will complete the installation.

Go to the Acer website. Click on the support link. Lookup your model # and then download and install the ethernet driver[LAN} for XP. Reboot and you should be all set. hope this helps.

to get the sound driver, go to google and visit aspire website am sure u will get it if u cant still get it mail me on [email protected] for further directories

Go to the Acer WEB site to download the Windows drivers you need, make sure it is Windows XP version for your particular MODEL laptop.

It seems that have formatted from Vista to XP since the driver aren't avaible for XP on Acer's website.

So I would recommend you using this tool and see it if detects your drivers and if it does download the drivers with the program:

IT says Vista, but look at the filenames, it says vista and XP on drivers that work with both.

all you need then is windows xp installation cd.

- I guess you downgraded your system to windows xp, If that the case you have to check if the system has an internal modem .If so, please download the driver for that PCI modem.

- I have already checked the modem that was already install on your system(V.92 56Kbps* data/fax modem,)
- You have to download the windows xp driver for this modem. or download chipset driver for windows xp
