File name is EBOOT.PBP .. 2. connect your pc with psp . now move to the settings and the secound option from the top press X . 3. Now click the removable disk and there would be a foldr name PSP , inside it there is another folder GAME . inside it create another folder name it as update . now paste EBOOT.PBP in that folder 4. a.emulator. b.psp slim with cfw 3.71 m33 or higher.
steps:
1.source out an emulator in the internet e.g. psp-hacks.com (in this case, emulator chosen is NesterJ NES Emulator 1.11 RM). 2.go to psp-hacks.com main page, then click on PSP downloads, then click on Homebrews, then Emulators, then Nintendo, and finally click on NesterJ NES emulator 1.11 RM. 3.source the emulator. 4.for psp slim, you must use applications/emulators that are 3.XX fw otherwise,it will not run on the slim.1.50 fw is for fat psp's. 5.to know that it's 3.XX and therefore for slim use,an emulator or application has basically one main folder upon extraction via winrar to your desktop, unlike 1.50 that have two main folders (one of the folders has a percent sign on it usually). 6.many emulators and applications will also indicate whether they are for slim or fat use. 7.connect the pc to your psp through usb connection and go to the root of the memory stick. 8.now copy the NESTERJ_1_11_RM folder from your pc desktop to the GAME folder in your memory stick like this - F:\PSP\GAME. 9.at this point you can load a legally acquired rom game to your emulator by placing it on the ROM subfolder found inside the NESTERJ_1_11_RM folder. 10.disconnect usb connection, then go to the game submenu on your psp, click on the NesterJ emulator application you just installed to run it,choose and click on the ROM/ folder to load the rom and there you go.

You haven't enabled Autorun Program at /PSP/GAME/BOOT/EBOOT.PBP have you?
The file is not supposed to be opened by your PC. You have the transfer the file from your PC to the PSP. To do this, you need a USB cable and you have to plug your PSP into your PC.
Download procedure
Prepare to save the update data on either system storage or Memory Stick Micro™ (M2)™ media, using one of the following methods:
Connect the PSP® system to the PC using the USB cable
Connect a commercially available Memory Stick USB reader/writer to the PC
Use the Memory Stick slot on a PC
Create a folder for the update data on either system storage or Memory Stick™ media.
Using your PC, create a folder named "PSP". Within the "PSP" folder,
create a folder named "GAME". Within the "GAME" folder, create a folder
named "UPDATE". (Folder names must be in all uppercase letters).
Download the update data for the PSP-N1000 (PSP®go) series and save it in the "UPDATE" folder created in step
2.
Notice You must save the downloaded data as
noted in these instructions. If you do not save in the correct location
and with the filename shown below, the system will not recognize the
update data.
You just connect the psp to your computer using a usb cable. Then create a folder in your Memory Stick Duo named “PSP“, under this folder, create a sub-folder named “GAME“, under this sub-folder, create another sub-folder named “UPDATE” (Note: all folders name must be CAPITALIZED).Download the PSP 5.51 update file via this link:

Hi,
Try these
1) Formatted memory stick (backed up what I wanted). 2) Copied Popsloader V2 (seplugins folder) back to the memory card (root) 3) Reset PSP and entered "Recovery Menu", Then nav to "advance" and formatted "flash1 4) Next enabled "Popsloader" under "Plugins" then exit menu. 5) Copied PSX Eboot to Game directory. 6) Viola it worked! pls rate my suggestion....
yes you can if you have a custom firmware. the psp will not recognize the eboot file itself unless you put the eboot file inside of a folder with the name of the game as the folder name. then you save it to psp/game. iso and cso files are placed in the iso folder of the root.
