Hi there, I believe you would have saved your contacts on the sim rather than the mobile. If that is the case, you can put your sim into another mobile, if you don't have one, maybe your friend's and atleast retrieve the contacts.
Hope this helps :)

Samsung will not turn on

pull out the battery and leave it out until you are 100% all water inside has dried out.. its not the water itself that does the most damages to the phone. but the power jumping from points to points on the microchips and traces causing erosion by electrolysis and damage by shorting.

the worst thing you can do is putting the battery back in too soon

if its very contaminated water (salty, chemicals.dirt etc.) this wont work tho. since the contaminations will short the phone out

My samsung rant wont charge. it charged yesterday but today after plugging it into the charger the Samsung name lights up and then it says "low battery please charge" but it wont charge, i did drop it in...

Phone not charging.
Hello, when a phone does not charge, it means that the phone charger or the port at which the charger is inserted in the phone is faulty.

Might be due to dust or dirt. You can Clean charging port on the phone with a brush and alcohol to remove dirt.

After cleaning it,if still not charging, you can test charger with another phone to be sure if the charger is working. And if charger works with another phone, that means the charging port on the phone is faulty and will need to replaced.

Take care.

I dropped my phone in the toilet. I took out the battery and let it dry. When i turned it back on the screen just says downloading error v5.50. I dont know what this means or how to fix my phone

Hello my friend,if the phone`s board is oxidized now there is nothing you can do anymore. You should immediately open your mobile unplug everything and try to dry everything with a hairdressers gun and leave the battery and the Sim card out for some hours when you dropped it into the water. Also make sure that Sim card and battery is completely dry before install it again. The only thing you can try is to go to your manufacture support site and download the latest firmware and reinstall it.

My samsung impression dropped in water and touch screen broke

I also dropped my Samsung Impression in the toilet, I immediately took the phone took the protective case off, took the battery cover off, and took the battery and my SIM card out and towel dried it as best as I could. Then I sat it on the floor next to my fan and let it dry until I got to my grandparents a little while later and I put it in a bowl of rice, completely covered the phone and battery with rice and left it sit overnight in the rice and all of the next day, so far i've had it on about 20 minutes and have had no problems with it so far, another solution is to sit it in the sun, to further dry it out. Water damage will void warranties on your phone and battery and your provider will know instantly if the damage was water related when they take your battery cover off, there is a small square sticker that when dry and hasn't touched water should be white, but as soon as it comes into contact with water it turns red, there is also one of these stickers on the battery. My stickers were red and after sitting in the rice they look like they got lighter in color considerably, I don't know if that is really possible but appearance wise it looks that way. I hope this helps anyone who has had this problem. Good Luck!

Water level drops in bowl after it fills

If very little water is used on initial flush, The bowl is functioning as a tank for second thorough flush. The high water level cannot stay high in the bowl while in motion or you would have a mess ion start and stops.

Wet cell phone

You should try to borrow a battery or simply take yours out and plug in the charger to see if it will turn on.

Dropped in Toilet

See if it will turn on when you remove battery and plug it into your charger. If it will you could recover the numbers with the Motorola software or the Carrier could.
