Purchased at Maytag Gemini MER6770 in 2000. It

Purchased a Maytag Gemini MER6770 in 2000. It randomly beeps (one beep only per time), sometimes once every few hours or once every few minutes. No error codes appear. When it beeps when the oven is on, the oven shuts off. I have to keep turning it back on. It beeps when the oven is off too. I am assuming the beep indicates the oven has turned itself off, even when it is already off. Help!

Sounds like the cancel (or stop) button is making contact by itself. Clock (oven control board) may need replacement.
One option to buy it new, your part number is 12001661
Coupon "New10" chops 10% off.
Another is to send the clock to be rebuilt. Google "stove timer rebuild", you'll find plenty of companies which can repair your original clock. In case you need it, the original part number is 74004542.
To get to the clock, remove the back of the control panel. Good luck.

Maytag Gemini electric oven

Well my friend these type ovens have eyes and sensers. It could be that you left something on the sensor when you were cleaning it. That is if it is not self cleaning. Self cleaning gets real hot and could affect your appliance in some way. It shouldn't but it might.
