The heating coil isn't working. I am trying to get the screws out but they have triangular shaped indentations in the screws. Where do I get a screw driver bit to fit them?

The screws are tamper proof screws because it isn't meant to be user friendly. however if you have an old philips screwdriver and a dremel tool you can make a driver for those screws.

My 2005 Toyota land cruiser rear vision mirror fell off windscreen. How to re attach?

It usually just slides onto the holder which is usually beveled and a bit triangular shaped so it goes on and tightens itself because of the shape, some have a small set screw to lock it into place after you push it on.

How to open cpu case

On the back of the computer down to the left bottom are two screws.
These screws are called Smart Cover Lock Screws.

They are a Torx screw.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx

If you do not have Torx screwdrivers, or Torx bits available, you may want to check out an auto parts store, or hardware store for their cheap line.

Once the two tamper-proof screws are removed, turn the computer around to face front.
There are two triangular shaped buttons to push in to release the computer cover.
(Triangular shaped with a round indention in the middle)
One button on each side.

Both buttons are pressed in simultaneously, and the computer cover is slid forward.
The buttons are then released, and the computer cover is lifted up, and off.

On my babyliss type S47b, special screwdriver???

The screw may be triangular, or Torx (star pattern), or even 'pin-in-Torx', which all require special tools. They do it to prevent people from opening them up. But you can buy the tools, and for triangular screws I ground an old screwdriver down to match the shape!

Those screws are called 'Tamper Proof' or 'Tamper Resistant'. If you google those you'll find tool sets that will open dang near anything.

My dryer runs great but doesnt pump heat. what can I do to fix it?

first unplug the dryer, then take off the vent tube in the back, take the screws holding the back on take out then take the back off, there will be a oval shaped tube in the back with 2 wires going in the bottom and one or two thermostats on itundo the wires going into the bottom of the tube , there is a holding strip on the top with one screw take the screw out, then pull the tube out enough to work on it ,at the bottom there is another screw take it out , then pull the heating coil out inspect it there may be a break in the coil if so it won't heat up, if the coil is o.k. then check the thermostat, more than likely it is your heating coil, then reverse the procedure, i do hope that i was of some help, thank you.

I am only wanting to close up my kolcraft ranger series 46720 manufactured nov 2000 but since I can't find a manual for it just sits.....

I hope this makes sense....I'm not certain which series I have but mine is the ranger reversible and I bought it a long time ago....stand to the side of the stoller, look at the frame, you will see a triangular shaped indention (this is located about halfway up the back of the seat), now.....release the seat so that it lays flat, fold cupholder, stand behind stroller, on each side put your fingers in the indented areas and pull in an upward movement while keeping a foot on the bar at the bottom. It releases and folds right up. Hope this helps!!

Bottom coil does not heat. Top coil for broiling works ok

Check your fuses - both on the oven and in your breaker box.

Most likely the bottom coil has quit. Replacement is usually quite easy.

With the power off - you remove the screws at the back of the coil and disconnect the power lines. Bring to appliance center and they can match size/shape.

Fixing a new electrical lead

Is it really triangular and not just 'star' shaped say in which case you can use a 'phillips' screw-driver.
If really triangular then you'll have to go to a specialist electrical shop and ask to borrow a correct tool.
The replacement of the burnt lead should be fairly easily done as long as you have already some experience in doing these kind of electrical jobs!!
