Hi
When you want to empty the grounds because it says to in the menu, REMEMBER TO LEAVE THE MACHINE ON when you remove the drawer. The machine is a counter and when it reaches the magic amount for that machine the message comes on. If the machine is turned off when you pull the drawer out, the machine doesn’t know this and the message will be there when you turn the machine back on. Also remember to leave the drawer out for at least 15 seconds or a little longer so the machine thinks you actually dumped the grounds.

I have a message that reads Dregdrawer full but it is empty

the machine is counting how many coffee is made, and then it's showing that dreg drawer is full. If you empty it before the machine showing that's full -machine don't know that you are empty it.Now you have to remove dreg drawer for 10 seconds and then put it back!

Machine shows message 'dregdrawer full' even thought the dreg drawer is empty. cant get rid of this error message.

Hi
When you go to empty the dredge drawer you must leave the machine on. When you remove the dredge drawer it will say dredge drawer missing. Leave it out at least 15 seconds so the machine knows you are empting it. When you insert it again the machine will count about 24 cycles and tell you to empty it again. Its a counter.

Machine won't work due to dreg drawer

Check to see if your machine has an "exit chute" or similar area where from the used pucks are ejected. The area might be clogged with used coffee grinds and causing a false reading from the machine.

Dregdrawer Full

There is no 'sensor' for this, an internal counter resets when you remove the drawer with the machine switched on and the "Dreg drawer Full" message displayed.
Make sure the machine displays this message "DREG DRAWER FULL" Do NOT turn off the machine, Pull out the drawer that the used grinds are dumped in(you have to remove the drip tray 1st) Check display - it should read "DREG DRAWER MISSING" If the display message is correct, wait 10 seconds then replace the drewer.
Message should be cleared.
If the "dreg drawer missing" does not display, you do have a bad sensor and machine needs to be serviced.

Dregdrawer full message will not go away

Have you tried removing the drawer with the machine on, leave it out for say 2 minutes and then replacing the dreg drawer again?

There is no dreg sensor. Dreg drawer full works off a counter - depending on when the counter was last reset your drawer may be full but it may be empty.

Simply removing the dreg drawer and replacing it quickly will not reset it. The machine has to think that you have actually taken the time to empty it - a couple of minutes should cover this.

If this does not resolve the issue, you need to get a Technician to take a look.

I hope this helps

Bought new machine yesterday.says ventilate which i did, then jumps to dregs drawer full, which is empty and clean what can i do now?

Are you still having the ventilate sign come on? If so, let hot water run out for 10-15 sec.
On the dregs drawer full message- carefully put back the dump box -making sure it slides in right. This happened to me the first time until I figured it out how to carefully put it back. If it is not in all the way, it will keep giving you that message.

Dregs light stays on (even when emptied!) - can't use machine

the various lights are controlled by either magnets that hit various sensors or microswitches.

the dreg light i'm pretty sure is a microswitch.

Its pretty common for them to go out, they're standard in almost all super automatic machines.

that particular switch is a pain in the **** to get to. You can order them direct from saeco, but if you can, it may be easier to send it out.

There should be a microswitch for the grind box, for the drip tray, for the water tank, and there should be one if i remember right for the grinder.

Its different for each model.

Hope this helps.

Saeco italia

ok turn the machine on and wait till warmed up. Open door while machine is on and remove the dreg drawer. This you always need to do when the machine is on otherwise it will not reset.
flashing means dreg drawer steady means coffee beans

Dregdrawer full

drain machine, turn off power , get vacuum cleaner nozzle into drawer slot (make sure its dry or u'll have to post a repair for vacuum cleaner repair) remove all deposits for chamber , shake and bang machine to lossen deposits. if drawer has metal clips or something that looks like sensors (does not have to have wires attached to be a sensor) clean !
