Screen blank on Sony DCR-ip1e. Shutter opens/closes as normal

Any good electronics shop will sell them.

Its problem of bad ccd imager in DCR-DVD91E camcorder and this part needs to be replaced.

Sony will repair this camera free of cost as per announced scheme.

Inside the door hinge area is a small switch that normally would turn off the viewfinder and turn on the LCD panel. THat switch could be defective or mechanically not being switched. WIthout opening up the unit, I can not tell specifically. This shouldbe a simple repair for any shop that repairs cameras.

i want driver of sony digital 8 ready shot camera

DCR-HC19E has cracked/ broken flexible cable, connecting LCD and main camera board.

the problem of your camera is the ccd image sensor...better go to the sony service center for replacing the image sensor..i know it is free for replacing that sensor cause that is one of the model that sony recall produc and the cover not open error message is a poor contact of the lens cover switch...

the flex wire of lcd monitor has being cut.....and a message 'cover is not open' there switch inside the cover of the lens that is losing contact....
