Printing is blank but I have new ink cartrigde in

The print-head stucks (FIXYA would '****' the preceding word, if I left out the 't') ink from the ink-cartridge, and sprays the ink onto the paper, when the print-head is *NOT* "clogged".

Run a "print-head-cleaning" cycle to "unclog" the print-head.

We have Epson ink jet printer. It worked fine when we got it last month but now the pictures are really awful - the colors are blurring and running together and there are recurring horizontal streaks...

Maybe the ink cartrigde is running out. Get sure that the cartrigde has enough ink, if it has not then reload it. If it has enough ink, then review that the printhead be clean, (you could clean it by using Isopropyl alcohol), then you can use the tools included in printer software to align or maintain cartrigdes. If this does not fix the problem, then replace the cartrigde.
