I have an HP 670C printer - had to replace my hard drive, I now have HP Pavillion, Windows Vista. I was told by HP to go buy a USB 2 port - I did didn't work . Called HP again mentioned to them 670c wasn't on their list - so I was told to buy another printer. Is there something different you can tell me at this point or does it make sense for me to go out and buy a printer?
And on that subject is the HP4315 printer, copier, scanner, fax machine compatible to the HP Pavillion -Windows Vista that I now have?
I'm not a computer person - any help is appreciated. It's Sunday 12/30/07 if possible can I get a response before 10:00 AM tomorrow morning?
We could fight with your old one and try to get vista to see it, but your not a computer person HP dont support it and i think that road may just lead to more frustration for you so maybe best if we just get you to replace it, any new printer of any brand on market should be vista compatable.
Double check specifics on HP officejet 4315 all in one and it is compatable, as I would say is any new printer on the market.
1:46PM 12/31 in my world, well 31/12 actually, and my computer says your 12/30 post was done on the 31/12, so no idea if it is before 10am:-)

information missing - wireless connection to printer or usb cable connection ????
Is printer already set up on your wireless network and working on other p.c's ?
If this printer connects to your computer using a USB cable recommend to use the same USB port on the computer that was connected during installing the printer drivers and software. In the future if you change to a different USB port your computer might still find the printer ... if it doesn't reinstall the software.
