I know a software Syncios is much more better than iTunes, which not only supports transferring music between PC and iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, but also transferring other data, like photos, videos, movies, contacts, messages, podcasts, ebooks, apps, notes and bookmarks.

Although iTunes is known as the only official application that handles all iPhone data transfers between the device and computer, this software isn't user-friendly at all. Sometimes, you may need help from third-party software. Here I found a post including some best iOS transfer software to help you transfer files between iPhone and computer via directly drag-and-drop: https://www.leawo.org/entips/best-iphone-backup-software-for-computers.html?fixya=1409

The email is one of the most convenient ways to transfer music from PC to iPhone, but there is usually a capacity limit. Therefore, it's quite essential to use a professional tool for transferring, and I'll recommend Leawo iTransfer, that enables you to transfer up to 14 kinds of data between iPhone and PC.

When it comes to transferring music from computer to iPhone without iTunes, you can use the available Cloud services. There are three Cloud services to be recommended, and you can choose anyone you like.

1.Google Play Music: it is not only a place to buy music but allow you to add up to 20000 songs from your computer to the cloud for free after you sign for a standard account. You can install the Music Player on your computer to upload your songs first. And then install the Google Music client, Melodies on your iPhone to play music you've uploaded to your account in cloud. The following steps will show you how to transfer music from computer to iPhone without iTunes using Google Play Music.

2. Amazon Cloud Player: it enables you to upload 250 songs from your computer to the cloud for free. If you want to upload more songs from your collection, you'll need to pay $24.99/year for up to 250000 songs. You can use the desktop Cloud Player to upload your songs to the cloud. And then install Amazon Cloud Player for iPhone to see and play these songs you put on your iPhone.

3.Dropbox: it is like a container where you can put all your files in. But it functions much better. It puts your stuff anywhere you need. After installing Dropbox on your desktop, you can drag and drop your songs to it. And then install Dropbox on your iPhone and sync it, you'll find that your songs are there on your iPhone.

Transfer music to MP3 from my phone

If you'a an iPhone user, you can use iTunes to transfer music from iPhone to computer first. You may have well known that iTunes only transfers purchased items from iPhone to iTunes library, so iPhone users can move purchased songs from iPhone to iTunes library.
  1. Run iTunes and click "Edit > Preferences > Device > Prevent iPhones, iPods and iPads from syncing automatically" at the upper left corner of iTunes window.
  2. Plug iPhone into computer via the USB cable, and then click "File > Device > Transfer Purchases" at the upper left corner.
  3. iTunes will start to sync all the purchased items back to its library.
After the syncing process, you will get the music files in your iTunes library, including the purchased music files. You are able to find the music files in the folder of your iTunes media files on your computer.

The next step is really easy. Since the music you want is already saved on your computer, you can now simply connect your MP3 player, drag and drop to transfer songs.

On the contrary, here's also a guide about Three Ways to Transfer MP3 Files to iPhone in case you need help.

How do i transfer Music to my Iphone from my computer, Once plugged into the computer the songs that are currently in the iphone are unhighlighted and cannot move songs to or from the iphone.. Please help

You need to create a playlist for the iPhone. This isn't intuitive and I don't know why it's this way. It works great, there just isn't anything explaining what to do. This seems to snag Windows users the most. Maybe Mac users are already used to doing things this way? I don't know.

Below is a picture of my iTunes. Look down in the lower-left corner and see that my playlist is highlighted. At the very bottom-left corner you can click the plus sign to create a new playlist. Then drag all of the music you want to the playlist. Finally, in the music tab of your iPhone, make sure you click the playlist you just made to sync all music on that list to your phone.

This will do the trick.
