How can I change my bulb in my tv

You just need to remove the back of the television to get to this. Unplug the TV first and hold the power button for about 2 minutes to drain the charge. The capacitors will knock you over if you accidentally touch them charged up and they will hold onto it. After that, locate the bulb and replace. You may actually have a three gun set up which would mean either one to three are out.

sounds like it is most likely the convergence power supply board, if it were just one color It would most likely be the convergence board itself

Picture flipping

The P52940 uses the 195 series chassis. The vert/hgt control is for vertical height. It adjusts the size of the picture from top to bottom. If your picture is flipping, it most likely means that something is wrong in the vertical circuits. I have seen fluid leak out of one of the CRTs and drip down on the vertical output IC, causeing the picture to go crazy vertically. The set should be serviced by a qualified tech experienced in the RCA 195 chassis.

RCA P52940 Television

The P52940 uses the CTC195 series main chassis. The most common reason for the set not to start up is a shorted flyback (high voltage) transformer. The set actually does try to start, but the computer immediately detects the extra current drawn by the shorted flyback and instantly shuts the set back off. The chassis should be checked and the flyback replaced by a qualified tech familiar with RCA projection TV's.

Rca 52 inch rear projection

This is a problem common with some RCA/GE TV's. The fix in the past was to install a capacitor between ground and pin 15 of the microprocessor which keeps a data signal riding on the video stream from muting the sound on most stations. By installing this capacitor, you would be disabling the closed caption feature so that feature would no longer work. An authorized RCA TV repair shop may be able to give you more information.
