I have a Chamberlain 1265 Lift-Master Professional. Does that model still exist or if not, what has replaced it. Also who carries it

I know that that is a lift-master opener. chamberlain owns lift-master. but if its a new opener your looking for try the lift-master 3800 jack shaft opener. it features a low profile design that mounts next to the door instead of on the ceiling above the door, and also incorporates a battery backup so that you will never be locked out again.

I am looking for a replacement remote for a lift master model 1260
Sears, Home Depot and Lowes both carry them. Liftmaster is the same as Craftman and Chamberlain. If you are not sure which one, then just get the chamberlain/liftmaster/craftsman universal. Again, all the same part, just depends on where you buy it.

I have a Lift-Master 1265 and the wire from the sensor came out. Can the sensor be opened and reattached?
You might be able to very carefully cut the case open. Never tried it though.

The model number will be on the opposite end of where you found the part number you listed. You can then call any Liftmaster dealer listed in your yellow pages.

The first thing I would do is replace the light bulb and see if that helps. They can radiate a radio signal at times.

On the side of the motor unit you will find the 'down limit control'. Using a small screwdriver turn this control in the same direction as the arrow printed on the cover. Some tweaking may be necessary to get it just right.

The most common cause of this problem is a bad wall control the wiring going to it. You can eliminate both temporarily by removing the wire at terminal 1 on the back of the motor unit. The wiring sometimes is shorted by the staples the installer uses. The wall control gets used a lot.
