The best place to take is a jewelery store or some place that can repair watches/replace batteries that has a cyclonic quartz watch tester RELACED WATCH BATTERY BUT WATCH - b2164de.jpg A cyclonic can detect if there is a pulse (the electrical signal that makes the hands move) even if the hands don't move. It can also spin the gears/hands to unstick the gears if some debris is holding them up. If there is no signal the coil or something inside the watch may have been nicked or something else is wrong with the watch and may have to go to a watchmaker/repairer or replaced.

Make sure the crown is pushed in completely, or the watch is stopped - and is adjustable.

Here is a picture of the crown: (this is not a picture of your watch, you havenot provided any detail about your watch.) On this picture the crown is pushed in completely.

On the picture below the crown is out, and the watch is in the adjust setting.

My dango watch second hand stops some time

If your Dango watch's second hand stops intermittently, there are a few things that could be causing the issue. Here are some possible reasons and solutions:

1. Low Battery: If the battery in your watch is running low, it could cause the second hand to stop. You may need to replace the battery in your watch. Check your watch's manual or take it to a watch repair shop to have the battery replaced.
2. Dirt or Debris: Dirt or debris can get inside your watch and cause the gears to stop moving properly. If this is the case, you may need to have your watch cleaned and serviced by a professional watch repair person.
3. Loose Second Hand: If the second hand on your watch is loose, it could cause it to stop intermittently. A loose second hand can be caused by a damaged pinion or cannon pinion. You may need to take your watch to a professional watch repair person to have it fixed.
4. Magnetic Interference: Magnetic fields can interfere with the movement of the gears inside a watch, causing it to stop or run erratically. If you have been around strong magnets or electronic devices, it could be causing the issue. Try moving your watch away from these devices to see if that helps.
5. Mechanical Issue: There may be a mechanical issue with your watch's movement that is causing the second hand to stop. This can be caused by a worn out gear or other component. You may need to take your watch to a professional watch repair person to have it fixed.

My michele watch keeps time for a few hours then stops. I have a brand new battery in it.

Hey, I am having the same issue. After a few hours, time stops but if i pull out the crown and push back in, I'm back in business, but after a few hours same thing. Make since the stop watch is on and i am having the worst time figuring out how to turn it off. The chronograph instructions for the Deco are not easy to understand.

I Have Columbia CL-7028, and its stops only after

Dont do it yourself.. it might break if u apply too much pressure. GO to your nearest watch center and ask them to replace the battery for you.. Its better to spend a little money than to buy a new watch!

Second hand stops, then ticks four ticks very fast then stops,

It may be that the battery is getting near the end of its life.

Bulova Watch Millennia Motion 96B17 - stops - needs battery????

Dude, of course it stops during the night - it's a perpetual motion / kinetic watch. It doesn't have a conventional battery. When you move your arm (while wearing it), the natural motion of your arm will 'automagically' wind the watch. There's nothing wrong with it - these types of watches always have to be re-set in the morning if you don't wear it to bed (or you don't toss and turn in bed).

The second hand of my Tissot watch T870/970 starts and stops.

Hello!
Absolutely astonished by this "solution" from escapement.
This watch is working perfectly - it is simply giving its "end of battery life warning".
