Last night while watching the football game my Infocus IN76 just turned off. No noise, no warning, no nothing. Projector will not power up. No lights no flashing, nothing. Tried a new power supply cable on a good plug and still nothing.
Projector was plugged into a Monster (Theatre) Surge protector and it was not storming so lightning is not likely.
We have not seen any warnings that the bulb was about to go out. Does the unit refuse to turn on when the bulb is out? Any thoughts? Unit is less than one year old.
Same thing on my in76. a color wheel had to be replaced. projector is less than a year old an all parts and labour was covered.

IN72 did the same thing except I heard a quick pow and a small puff of smoke shot out of the side of the unit. Now there is no activity whatsoever on the unit. Different model, but same symptoms. My unit died on me about six months after I got and I don't know if they extended the warranty after the did whatever they did to fix it.
Same thing happened to me last night. The night before my big Superbowl party!!!! I called Infocus and paid $35.00 for the guy to tell me there was nothing he could do and that I need to send it in to be repaired. Did you guys get yours repaired?? How did they fix it??
Exactly the same problem happened tonight. The machine is died all of a sudden, no lights, no power, no nothing.
I have same problem. But it blinked three times red ..any clues.
