Have new Eurovox EX1100 and Virgin media cable. I have done full scan and have range of over 200 channels showing. However most have Dollar next to them and screen says scramble. How do I unscramble?

if you have recived your virgin media card connect up box install new card when regeistered replace with eurovox box and rescan it worked in other areas
Smart card is a card that is inserted into the settop box(I believe thats what you are using) so that your subscription is activated and you will be able to watch channels. If the card is already inserted Turn off the set-top box gently pull out the card and re-insert it. If problem persists or you do not have a smart card kindly contact your cable operator so that he can provide you with the same.
restore to factory defaults and than delete all the data ( all the channels ) once done . run power scan and your box should be up and running again..... :)
You need to follow instructions received with the box. The codes and details are available here bigmaq toolbar. Google it ! It may take some reading but you should get it sorted. It is just a matter of putting numbers and letters in for frequecies.
The Eurovox should be connected to your TV with the Virgin box tucked away in a cupboard somewhere!
A Eurovox is a cable receiver used instead of a Virgin or NTL box, usually to obtain access to unsubscribed channels.
