I tried deleting cookies, using CC Cleaner, changing browser versions..etc. But couldn't find a proper solution for this problem.
I even tried some of the old versions of IDM which are worked perfectly and still facing the same problem.
So I came up with a alternate Solution for IDM Error 'HTTP:/1.1 403 Forbidden'. This works on using combination od IDM and online video download sites like Keepvid.com.
The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the HTTP data stream sent by your Web browser was correct, but access to the resource identified by the URL is forbidden for some reason. This can occur mainly that software might require a username and password to be entered in order to download it.
The base page for ubisoft is http://ubi.com If you are getting a 403 error, then you are trying to access a protected page without logging in. Try starting at the base page and navigate to the page you are looking for.
This error message means :- 403 - Forbidden - You can't access the page. You may not have access (it may require a password), or it may be blocked from your domain. or your Internet site parent controlled site blocker.
write to the provider and communicate the error code...at least for yahoo I managed to unlock in this way some mail addresses but in theory it ok for all mail servers ///
Hi,
HTTP Error 403 is an error message which means that you are not authorized to view the web page which you are attempting to load.
The 403 error is also known as "Forbidden".
The 403 Forbidden error is most often seen when you are attempting to browse to a directory which has directory browsing permissions turned off.
The actual error message you receive will depend upon your web browser. For example, Internet Explorer says "You are not authorized to view this page."
Follow these steps if you get this error:-
1.Make sure the URL is entered correctly
2.Try the URL with a different file extension (.html, .htm, .shtml, .php)
3.Go to the main page of the site and look for a search function
4.Go to Google and search for a similar page
The message means that the site to which you are trying to access will not grant permission to the URL making the request. Some sites do not like users to access certain web pages without first having to navigate through their site.
For example, if you try to access the following URL address:
www.checkupdown.com/accounts/grpb/B1394343/
you will receive the 403 message because you are trying to get into the site several directories deep. The server wants you to enter the site at w.checkupdown.com
This article explains it far better than I can. My hunch is that this is not a resolvable issue by us.
