Our Hp 5550 prints thin vertical black lines on high res images. They are evenly spaced (3cm apart on an A4 print).

This is caused by a damaged drum. The drum is the long metal cylinder inside the toner cartridge. You will have to replace the hold cartridge. You should be able to flip a plastic cover on the toner and see the drum. If it has black toner lines then it usually means the drum is scratched and there for toner fills the scratch and produces lines.
Replace the print cartridge (toner cartridge) and the lines should go away.

Hi my machine has a 10.00.00 supply memory erro message can you tell me what is wrong with it please

Memory Supply Error 10.00.00 The printer is unable to read or write to the print

cartridge e-label, or the e-label is not on the cartridge.

Basically what is happening is the printer cannot read the small chip on the toner cartridge. The chip is located on toner cartridge as it is inserted into the printer. 1 - Make sure the toner is firmly seated into the printer. 2 - Power cycle the printer with the toner out of the printer. Install the toner back into the printer. 3 - Install another toner cartridge. 3 - Verify that the e-label connector is firmly seated in connector

HP color lasejet 5550 dn does't print. Is this message: 10.00.03 supply Error memory. Can you help me Thank's

hello

You could try with different cartridge try to clean the contacts , check wether the cartridge is seated properly , make sure weather the strip is removed from the cartridge
OR
If you use a HP original cartridge, then you shouldn't have this message.

Anyway you can print, it's only at startup that this message appears.

If it is a HP toner, then change it.

Or
try this link and you will find answers for all your printers errors

Hp clj 5550 not printing cyan

Check the black cover on the pick up assembly under the cyan cartridge. If it is only a fraction too high cyan will not print. Make sure it is clipped in place correctly.

Hi there, need your kind help. My Hp laserjet 5550 has a missing colour problem. Cyan is missing in the print out, giving rise to to blue and green colours being absent in print-outs. Scanner is confirmed...

Cyan cartridge is OK, means that the display shows the level of toner in the cartridge, right? Then chip it is ok.
Try another cyan toner, the printer may be that it has broken the opening flap of the laser. Or check if the laser's flap cyan is blocked.

On Initialization the following error appears 10.00.01 Supply Memory Error.

The printer cannot read the memory tag on the black toner catridge. Power the printer off, swop the black toner cartridge for another colour.ie put the cyan, magenta or the yellow in the place that the black should go and fit the black in to space left by the colour. Power the printer on and see if the error remains the same.If it's the same error then it could be the cartridge reader in the black position. If the error changes, then it's possibly down to the black cartridge.

Hp laserjet 5550

Is there a setting for econoprint for this printer? Try that if you can. Also, is this an OEM (original) toner or a remanufactured/refilled cartridge? Usually cartdriges are good for 4000 or more copies at 5% coverage.
