The volume won't adjust on our Jensen vr187 radio. You can turn the knob to make it louder and instead it makes it softer and vice versa; or in some cases it won't change it at all.

I have a question. I own a 1997 Toyota Camry. the on off controls for the stereo is really messed up. It is really loose to. But you can be driving down the road and it will go from low volumn to high volume. If I hit a bump or turn a corner it will either get louder or softer. What can be done.

or [v] to make it softer or turn it completely off. (where v and ^ are the up down arrows on the phone)
Base: While the phone is ringing or in standby, use [volume +] to make the ringer

How do I set the clock on a jensen vr187 cd/ car radio

1. If the radio / i-pod is on- turn it off.
2. Hit the 'mode' button until the time flashes (it should be 3 times).
3. Use the Tun +/- button to change the hour.
4. Use the Volume +/- to change the minutes.
5. Click through the rest of the options to change between setting the alarm, how to be woken up (chime, ipod, etc), 12/24 hour format, year, and date.

Adjusting the Ringer Volume

You can choose from four ringer volume settings (off, low, medium, and high) separately on each handset or the base.

With the phone in standby, press or on the handset or VOLUME or VOLUME on the base. The handset or base sounds the ringer at that level.

Use on the handset or VOLUME on the base to make the ringer volume louder. Use on the handset or VOLUME on the base to make it softer or turn it completely off.

When you hear the ringer volume level you want to use, stop pressing keys.

The handset or base will use the new ringer volume starting with the next incoming call.

Note: If you set the ringer volume to Off, the handset or base won't ring. Other handsets or base will ring according

to their individual settings.

Muting the Ringer (One call only)
While the phone is ringing, press /Mute or END on the handset or on the base to mute the ringer

Please advise as to how to increase the VOLUME on my DECT 6.0 phone.

To adjust the ringer volume:
  1. With the phone in standby, press ^ or v. The display shows the current volume level and the handset sounds the ringer at that level.
  2. Use ^ to make the ringer volume louder or use v to make it softer or turn it off completely.

To adjust the speaker volume:

You can choose from six volume levels for the handset speaker while on a speakerphone call. To adjust the handset speaker volume, press ^ to make it louder or v to make it softer. The handset display shows the current volume level for the handset speaker.

Note: The handset earpiece and the handset speaker have separate volume settings.

The clock uses a 12-hour digital indication...... Press and hold the select button...... The setup display appears...... Press the select button repeatedly until “CLOCK-ADJ” appears...... Press (DSPL...... The hour indication flashes...... Rotate the volume control dial to set the hour and minute...... To move the digital indication, press (DSPL...... Press the select button...... The setup is complete and the clock starts......

Jensen VR187 radio/backup camera observation monitor won't work

In the manual look on page 10 step 10. You have to use a ball point pen and straightened paper clip (better) to reset the unit. There is a small hole at the lower left of the Volume knob. That's where you insert the paper clip.

SA-AK95 volume control problem

This volume controls is actually what is called an encoder. The control itself needs to be replaced. Figure on $5-$10 for the part plus the local labor rate for the total repair cost.
